I was a photojournalist in the northern San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 20 years.  I graduated with a Journalism degree (with an emphasis in photojournalism) from San Francisco State University and was the Hood Recipient for the School of Humanities.  In addition to my work photojournalist, I spent nearly 30 years teaching photography to students with a wide range of abilities; from high school students learning basic photography to upper division college students acquiring advanced visual storytelling skills.
